The auction for the second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL)2024 is set to take place on Saturday, December 9 in Mumbai. Out of the total 165 players to go under the hammer this time, 104 will be from India and 61 overseas. Out of the foreign players, 15 are from associate nations. In a press release, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) stated, “Rs 50 Lakhs is the highest reserve price with 2 players — Deandra Dottin and Kim Garth — choosing to be slotted in the top bracket.”
Meanwhile, four players have been categorised into the Rs 40 lakhs bracket.
